Case studies
Seventeen problems, and what actually fixed them.
Each of these includes the constraint that made the obvious solution fail, and a section on what we would do differently. Most of this work was delivered under NDA or as a white-label partner to another firm, so client names are withheld throughout — we would rather show the real constraint than a logo with the substance filed off. We will walk through the detail under NDA.
All case studies
Cutting stockouts across 240 stores with a forecast the buyers trust
A hierarchical demand forecast, a promo-aware feature store and a replenishment workflow the category team can override — because a model nobody overrides is a model nobody uses.
Read the case studyShipping firmware to 6,000 imaging consoles without a truck roll
A signed, resumable, rollback-safe update channel for regulated ultrasound hardware sitting on hospital networks that block almost everything.
Read the case studyA reproducible pipeline for a diagnostics lab that had outgrown its scripts
Genomic and assay data moving from instruments to reportable results, with provenance for every derived value and a turnaround clock the lab director can see.
Read the case studyVisual inspection on a plastics line, and the OEE story underneath it
A camera-based defect check at the end of a moulding line, plus the line telemetry that showed the real losses were upstream of the defects.
Read the case studyOne warehouse for 40+ lender schemas that all disagreed
Ingestion, conformance and a semantic layer for a lending data business, where every partner sent a different idea of what a loan account is.
Read the case studyEnergy analytics across 14 buildings and four BMS vendors
One data plane over BACnet, Modbus and a proprietary head-end, with fault detection that tells a facilities manager which asset to look at before the complaint arrives.
Read the case studyTurning 40,000 support calls a month into a product backlog
Diarised transcription, an LLM extraction pipeline with a graded evaluation set, and a review console where quality leads correct the model in place.
Read the case studyOne reader identity across eight publishing properties
A tracking plan, a governed event schema and an implementation across web and apps that survived the traffic spikes it was designed for.
Read the case studyA vendor portal that replaced 11,000 emails a month
Quote requests, comparison, approval and invoicing for an industrial procurement business — built as a product, not a project, so it could be sold to their customers.
Read the case studyTeaching a voice agent to negotiate a truck booking, not just take one
An outbound agent that calls transporters directly, holds a rate band instead of reading a script, and hands off to a human the moment a call needs one — built for a market that runs on phone calls, not portals.
Read the case studyCutting failed deliveries by more than half by fixing the address, not the map
An order state machine, delivery slots tied to real rider capacity, and a customer app and a rider app built for the phones and networks people actually have, not the ones a demo runs on.
Read the case studyOne customer record behind the till, the app and every campaign
A real-time billing feed, a campaign manager marketing can run without an engineering ticket, and a recommendation engine that still works on a customer's first visit.
Read the case studyTurning exposure-response scripts into a platform three teams could trust
A shared, versioned home for dose-response and exposure-response modelling — so a clinician can run a validated "what if" in minutes, and a question from a regulator can be answered from a run ID.
Read the case studyTurning free-text complaints into routed, auditable, reportable cases
A classification pipeline that cites its reasoning, redaction inside the free text itself, and SLA-aware routing that replaced a spreadsheet nobody fully trusted.
Read the case studyTurning a stack of invoice PDFs into a three-way match a clerk still signs off on
OCR and LLM extraction across forty-plus supplier invoice formats, confidence-scored and matched against purchase orders and goods-received notes, with a review queue for anything the match cannot clear on its own.
Read the case studyBuilding a copilot that says "I don't know" instead of guessing
A retrieval system with citations, permission-aware access, and a freshness mechanism that retires outdated policy documents automatically, embedded in the helpdesk tool the team already lives in.
Read the case studyTurning a shared drive of contracts into a renewal calendar nobody has to hunt for
Clause-level extraction with citations back to the exact page, amendments resolved against their base contract, and a renewal calendar built from dates nobody had to type in twice.
